***Effective April 29th, 2022 pursuant to Ohio House Bill 93, the Montgomery County Recorder’s Office will begin charging a $4 reference fee on all releases and assignment of mortgages - in addition to the standard recording fees of $34 for two pages plus $8 per page thereafter.

The Montgomery County Recorder's Office is located on the fifth floor of the Montgomery County Administration Building. Parking is available in the adjacent parking garage. For your convenience, computer terminals are located throughout the office for on-line access to most Montgomery County property information through the Recorder's, Auditor's and Treasurer's records. Detailed instructions for accessing these records are posted at each terminal. Recorder's screen: All on-line index information is available by inputting name to be searched. Auditor's screen: Appraisal, assessment, and ownership information are available by inputting name, street address, or parcel ID number. Treasurer's screen: Tax figures and payment information can be obtained by inputting taxpayer's name, parcel ID number, or street address.
